Mod, the fact that DK+ is in a shared rack is also going to be causing problems.

There are still some dropped note issues when looping on tracks that have compensated delay (IE rack bearing tracks).
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!

So I went and download the DK+ demo, and can now verify that the first note drop issue happens when using it's internal step sequencer w/o racks. I'm pretty sure this one is related to sync. The internal step sequencer is not getting the right vst timeinfo to trigger the first note like stepchild... in any case, turn off [e-to-e] and leave loop mode on and it'll play the first note... Can you confirm this Breakpete?

ModuLR, it plays like it should when I turn off e-to-e and leave loop on. This was even without the DropFix!

Off to bed now. Hopefully I'm tired enough to sleep even though the street below is full of drunk and incredibly LOUD partygoers.  :tantrum:

yeah.. it's a different issue... it's a sync thing. DK+ needs certain sync information to trigger the first step. If anyone experiences the first dropped note with Stepchild... the solution is the same. Turn [e-to-e] off, and leave loop mode on. :D Drop_Fix is more so for VSTi's being played by a midi clip, not an internal sequencer.

It's it funny how the problem can seem so similar, but underneath the issues are pretty much unrelated. weirdness.. :)

actually, it doesn't fix the rewire thing.. I think it might be related, but rewire must handle things differently.

If there's anything else I can try or help with on the rewire thing, please let me know.
