All audio in my track is recorded at the highest resolution that my sound card (Tascam US122)can handle: 24bit/48Khz.

When exported down to a CD resolution, 16bit/44.1Khz, all I get is a wav file that sounds faster and higher speech.
I´ve tried all sort of different configurations but the problemstill there.

Could it be a Tascam prob?

Pls Help!!! :help:

i think it my need to be exported at 48khz then you can resample the wav file in a external editor down to 44.1 khz

Let me try that, djsubject. By the way I was meant to say "higher pitch", no "higher speech". Sorry for my english ...

In future I would suggest using 44.1KHz while recording, as the benefits of the higher 48KHz rate will almost certainly be lost when sample rate converting the final mix.

24-bit is worth doing though..
