very good points there guys. i've updated the top of the main post, and added a second post which holds a list of all the FR threads for discussion. as ideas get discussed (and i get time!) i'll move them into the main list.

I just didn't realize it was being done. It seemed to me like a bunch of people sharing their personal wishlists (as someone else put it) without considering the big picture.

I'd just like to add a thanks to haydxn for starting the FR sticky, it definitely has helped the atmosphere by encouraging people to be a little more constructive and creative.
