Like we spoke about in other forums... For instance adobe audition has support for mackie universal and support for tascam us428... im sure others would like this. I mean even for the EQ stuff on the tascam, it could be applied to the tracktion ones. would be pretty neat.

yes i do have to agree with ron (as i think all of us have said) this would be nice
but the main thing i would like to see is the feed back of assined controlers, so if you have a midi controller that supports this, you can make the most of it,
but thats mostly becouse i like watching the lights move by them selfs on my new desk
Ron dose your midi controller have a midi lern on it?
if it dose you can get the first 8 tracks, solos, mutes & volumes to work in mcu mode

UC-33e would be nice. I just rearranged my studio and when I'm at my main keyboard, it is a lot more convenient to use the UC-33e to control the transport.
It would be nice if the whole controller assignments for External Controllers could be defined by the user.

i was having a bug with it for a little while but that has been fixed now - it definitely works. now it's a case of:
1) finishing the program so that it's presentable
and
2) filling it up with the full map of commands for mapping.
the midi learn works perfectly, and the few test commands i've put in the current list work just as they should (currently just mapping to random midi keys). it just needs a new interface and the whole set of commands. i've some other important projects that i need to be getting on with too i'm afraid, but some areas may overlap so you'll probably see something over the summertime.

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

Curious if anyone has got the contour shuttle (pro or express) to work with tracktion 2. Seems like every other audio program works with it so I don't see how Tracktion wouldn't. Specifically interested in scrubbing.

I would like to request support for the Frontier Designs Tranzport. A great little device that was long overdue in the Home/Project studio world! I can sit across the room at my piano and not get up every time I need to start (or restart) recording. I am currently using it with Pro Tools, but would probably ditch Pro Tools (since RTAS VSTi support is lacking some fundamental things) and use Tracktion exclusively if it supported the Tranzport!

hi bhmcc - I just use a bluetooth keyboard. that with big meters seems to provide all the functionality of Tranzpost at a uarter the cost...

Semiquaver, that's an interesting idea! Although the cost doesn't really affect me since I already own the Tranzport. Still, I may look into a wireless keyboard if Tranzport support for Tracktion doesn't appear in the next 1-2 updates. Thanks for the info!

blutooth keyboard is a verry good idear though!
i choped my joypad wire in half, bought 5m of 5 cat loom & extended it to reach my vox booth (now there is a slight delay in the button pressing, likr 1/2 a second) but i have a app that lets me map all the keybord short cuts i need to record myself & nevagate about T2 using my joypad.

I bought the Shuttle Xpress when I bought T2. I didn't get the pro because I only needed something basic that I could use to start/stop/record/undo record/go home/scrub with the monitor off and me at the other end of the room with guitar in hand.
The Shuttle uses keyboard signals, so it works in every app that uses shortcuts. So for instance, if winamp is open and in focus, I can have the shuttle near the door and I can reach in and switch songs or stop it from playing.
There is a little helper app that sits in the tray and you can setup a profile for every application, so when T2 is in focus I can use it to control it, and if a video editing app is in focus, it switches to it's profile.
I'm happy with the xpress. It does what it's supposed to without getting in the way, and is $45.
What is your specific question regarding scrubbing? I will do some tests for you and give you the info you need.
