In my opinion, there are very few similarities between the two. Podium's track handling is totally different, and all kind of devices (be it external midi/fx, vst plugins or whatnot) are handled exactly the same way and so forth. Also the interface is much cleaner than any other host I know of. (not in the screenshots, because they try to show how much you can do, not how you want to worklightshy wrote:seeing the screenshots on their website, i immediately thought of cubarse. even the layout of the tools and ... resembles cubase. what i'm asking is: how much does podium really resemble cubarse workflow-wise. and another thing is it a cpu bitch?

But thats just me.stefancrs wrote:What part of Podiums looks did you dislike?sidhu wrote:GoodieLunch Money wrote:I was just trying to avoid another host vs. host thread. I really enjoy tha Tracktion look. takes the OS look out of the work flow. Very slick.
Im sure Podium is very capable. I have just switched to Tracktion and am still learning it. If the need were to ever arise, ill look into podium with seriousness.
