Proper polyphonic afertouch would be be good too. (I'd imagine there's not too many people with controllers to support this, but it'd be nice to still edit the data by hand)

as far as I can tell, T ignores it for some reason.haydxn wrote:does it not let thru the midi data? do all soft-synths ignore it? therefore not respond to it even live? or is it just that it doesn't record aftertouch data?
amazing how aftertouch is now a big feature on more expensive keyboards when just about everything except the absolute cheapest synths had it back in the 80s...rockstar_not wrote:my keyboard that I use as a controller (Ensoniq VFX SD vintage 1989) actually has key, not channel aftertouch
I'll be honest, I haven't shopped for a keyboard in so long, I guess I haven't looked at MIDI specs. I assumed that like most things, features would be found in top and lower priced products. Wrong assumption if I understand you correctly.GaryG wrote:amazing how aftertouch is now a big feature on more expensive keyboards when just about everything except the absolute cheapest synths had it back in the 80s...rockstar_not wrote:my keyboard that I use as a controller (Ensoniq VFX SD vintage 1989) actually has key, not channel aftertouch
