Hi,
Now that Cronox 3 is in final beta and is only hours from release (pure wishful speculation) ... the following are my suggestions for Albino 3:
1. More effects. At least 4, with options for parallel or serial routing - ie. a reverb into a phaser (serial), or both at once on the dry signal (parallel). I know you know what this means, I just thought I'd clarify for those who don't.
2. Dedicated distortion FX section (in any FX slot) with all of the usual suspects as options (distortion, rectifier, wave shaper, bit/sample rate reducer, etc.)
3. FX presets seperate to the patch presets, selectable in the interface and saveable in a simlar fashion.
And that's about it. I know it's a bigger CPU hit, but it'll make Albino sound so sexy. I was playing around with post processing, and if you run additional reverb and delay on top of the reverb and delay already on some patches, it just makes Albino sound SO great. Some people will whine about it, but it's been making lousy synths sound great for years (like old Korg romplers).
It's my go-to synth everytime. It gets used in every mix, and everything I've had released has Albino in there somewhere.
Great stuff.
Thanks,
~MacQ
