How can I import session files of songs done in protools?

i don't think you can do it directly: open your session in Pro-Tools and export it as multiple wavs all starting at the same point. You can then import these into Tracktion.

As Tracktion 2 supports Broadcast WAV there may be an easier way: just export the audio from Pro-Tools without worrying about track start times, import the results into the T2 demo, right-click each clip and choose "set start time to original start time of BWAV", save the edit, and open it in T1 to continue work with no hiss.. I haven't tried this trick btw, and it relies on PT being able to export Broadcast WAVs.

PT will export broadcast wave. But PT has no stereo support (only dual mono). So the files within PT's stereo tracks are actually two seperate mono files. As you will notice within the region list.

what you can also do is, select all files within PT by selecting the entire edit region where audio resides. Consolidate selection (replace files). Remove unused audio. Save session to a new folder. import audio folder from this new folder.
