Even when I AM with her, I always try to explain what I'm doing musically, and with school(which of course is audio engineering), and with my software and stuff, and she never seems that interested. So maybe it IS her fault!

Does anyone else try to impress the chicks or the spouse or whatever with this kind of talk? If not, then good, it doesn't work!

"Hey baby, look what happens when I change it to 24-bit.....what's that? You can't HEAR the difference? Well, maybe I can help you FEEL the difference........"

Trust me, it won't work.

Don't feel bad koolkeys, my wife and I just had a romantic Excel moment where she helped me figure out a formula to tell how many cells in a column had a value and generate a percentage so I can generate metrics to give a client a good understanding of our progress through test cases easily. She got me a bit excited, I'm gonna go snuggle he after I finish my root beer

At least you're talking about music.

thats so tru mate!!

my girl hates me doing wot i do! but the silly girl also loves me for the exact same reason

i supose it makes dealing with some of the trolls here alot easyer

dont feel dirty unless you are having the same problem with your bit on the side aswell

My girlfriend actually finds that kind of stuff at least semi-interesting even if she's not riveted by it. She's a scientist, after all.
