Hey Guys,
has there been any further resolution to this midi file thing?

Just wondering :)

What kind of resolution? I continue exporting MIDI files with no problems whatsoever. ;) ;)

After a bit of time with a hex editor, the problem with the funky midi files has been properly identified and reported. :)

Hey ModuLR,

I would appreciate it very much if you could elaborate a bit on this one.

Thanks for the update ModuLR.

This is what I love about this forum and people such as yourself. Tracktion becoming more honed through input from an enthusiastic user base. It feels great to be a part of it.

Keep up the good work :love:

@joenco - the reason some software doesn't like the tracktion midi exports is beacause there is an extra byte(s) (0xFD) prior to the midi content in the file (if you know the stucture of a midi file, a hex editor can reveal this).. Some software simply ignores this and will continue to load the mid properly, while others have a problem with it. The issue has been clearly identified now.. jules is aware of it. :wink:

@Steve - w00t! :D
