It would be nice to be able to set a specific grid (via keycommand) that stays intact when zooming in/out. 1/4, 1/8, 1/12, 1/16, 1/24, 1/32 etc.

I asked Jules a long time ago and he said he would consider it, i guess it never came into fruition. I guess he doesnt want it to be in there.

I would like to be able to det a very small nudge value (10 ticks) for audio and midi clips - I do a lot of tightening up of live tracks and the snap values are much too large for this at all but the tightest zooms.
So it would be great to set the snap values in BOTH the midi editor AND the arrange window.

Since I started using Tracktion, I have never had to change snap even once!!!! When I used Cubase I had to change snap values every few seconds. I could never go back to that hell.djsubject wrote:i want it because its how i allways worked, the currant way is! far better!

I'm convinced that people that want to change snap values constantly dont use their scroll wheel to zoom. Its so fast (not to mention fun) to zoom in with the scroll wheel, make small changes and zoom out, its about a million times better than having to constantly change the snap value to diffrent things.

I don't want to change it - just set it very small and leave it there so I don't have to zoom in for each tweak. - though its not the end of the world now that you mention it - zooming is kind of fun.

Why not just turn snap off("Q")? Or use the start time number boxes in the properties. Click and drag up or down on the last number box and you can move clips by very small amounts.semiquaver wrote:I would like to be able to det a very small nudge value (10 ticks) for audio and midi clips - I do a lot of tightening up of live tracks and the snap values are much too large for this at all but the tightest zooms.
