If I want to set up a drum kit in Tracktion with let's say the RMIV, what's the best way to do it?
I need eq compression on all the seperate hits and some reverb on snare and toms. Do I keep everything seperate on different tracks, or do I wrap everything in a rack?
Please give me some ideas on how to do stuff, thanks!

that's entirely a personal choice issue.
For mixing it is probably better to use a rack to span the plug across tracks, and put your effects on those tracks. Sticking everything inside the rack allows you to both save screen estate, and save the effects setup for easy recall in other projects.
