beno. welcome back.
i have a funny story for you.
i work in a guitar shop part time at nights, just to network for my live recording service and get a little extra dough and discount.
we get all sorts of folks in the store that like to just stand there for long periods of time and talk about what they like and what they have, and they like to find out what we like, because aparently we are the ones who would know what's best... or something. and they stay in the store for thirty, fourty, to an hour sometimes, and they just want to talk and look at stuff. usually these are the people who never buy, but complain about the price of items and how good they are or how superior something they have is to it... so... anyway, the manager has really been overworked lately and it seems that every time that he tries to get anything done, in comes one of these (really nice, and they mean well) folks that want to just stand there and chit chat and hum and haw about the store and just try to waste time... and it really has been getting on his nerves lately. and i understand what he's feeling. because im trying to get the repair shop back up to standard after one of the guys mixed everything up and...oh i won't even go into it....
but this morning i was staring at the phone at the front of the store, and i saw a little thing on the phone, written in pen saying: "TRAPDOOR". it was a little button drawn on the phone HAHAHAHA! and it was all colored in with red marker. and i immediately knew it was from the manager. and i haven't been able to stop laughing about it all day. perfect timing and perfect placement. and he needed to say nothing, but got his point across in a hilarious way.
i laughed all the way home on the drive to the house tonite from work.
just got back at 9pm. and by the way welcome back!! we missed your wisdom.
i just thought you'd enjoy that little story. im sure you feel the same way from time to time.

Howdy Ben, welcome back chief. Hope Europe treated you well, and you didn't drink too much german beer. Mainly because i want to go and drink their beer, and you'd better not have finished it.

lmao! And w/b Benodiverdee wrote:So (forgive me if i'm a little confused here - but i've been displaying some serious symptom's of elmer fudd disease lately) - so your saying that Beno is a seperate entity - a person in his own right & not kinda like 'mackie incarnate'? Are you also of the opinion that all my friends on eastenders & coronation street etc. are actually 'actors' & that it's some kind of pre-recorded tv show & not a reality tv style peek into the real world of chirpy hard-working east-end & northern folk. You sick bastard is nothing sacred? Why don't you just cook the easter bunny in a rabbit stew & put acid in santa's sherry? & don't even mention the tooth fairy u sick twisted pervert.pHz wrote:ron ... beno is an EMPLOYEE of mackie ...
