is there in the current (or the next) version of tracktion some kind of auto-selecting-clip feature available? e.g. when you move a single clip, that everything on the current track, or on all tracks, on the right side of that clip will move along?
and is there an auto-slip function? e.g. you drop a (new) clip somewhere on the right side of a clip, and the new clip will position itself automatically the the end of the clip on the left?
thanks!

no ... not unless you select all the clips you want to move (IMHO this kind of auto-select wouldnt be THAT helpful anyway)klankschap wrote:is there in the current (or the next) version of tracktion some kind of auto-selecting-clip feature available? e.g. when you move a single clip, that everything on the current track, or on all tracks, on the right side of that clip will move along?
click the 'snapping' button and enable 'snap clips to neighbours'klankschap wrote:and is there an auto-slip function? e.g. you drop a (new) clip somewhere on the right side of a clip, and the new clip will position itself automatically the the end of the clip on the left? thanks! //floris

the first thing you mentioned there would be a horrible thing to happen automatically, i'm sure (i.e. with every move of a clip) but you can do it with a single extra click
select a clip
in the properties panel, click SELECT CLIPS
click "select all later clips in the same track"

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

IIRC correctly, with one clip selected, CTRL+A (or mac equiv) selects all other clips on the track.
