remember that you can lock the properties panel of any item to stay when you click on another (with the little padlock in the topleft of the properties)
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

yes.but that then does not let the other filter (volume or level) show. Very often when there are a number of tracks in the edit window, the volume is to samll to be able to make adjustments. Thus having to them from the filter window lower down, but then we dont get levels.

This is true - it could possibly be useful to be able to lock multiple filters, although in this instance once the level meter is locked one can still edit the volume slider.

thats what i was thinkimg... and it's what i do with VST plugs. Many of them open, in lock state. we could have a similar feature for the volume level filters also.
But thats adding an extra window. Not he idea is it ? Anywaz, the volume/pan filters in the lower window have a lot of waste real estate.

Like they now have fullscreen input metering... i was almost expecting it to serve as an output metering also.

fullscreen ouput metering whilst also allowing one to change the levels would possibly be useful whilst mixing down, seems like a logical partner to the fullscreen input metering also.

thank you warmonger! I don't appreciate being lumped into your requests either Ron. Especially when they are made in such a demanding sort of way. Not as obvious in this thread, but in the one that got locked... you signed "Tracktioneers" as if your words are representative of us all. It's very irritating.

not sure what the point of checking the meters during a mix..what would you be lookng for?
what might be useful though would be to see the meter while tweaking a plug that has crappy or no metering. maybe...
