A perfect anechoic chamber returns absolutely zero reflections, so this would essentially be an impulse of nothing, or very close to nothing. That reminds me of that old April fools joke - the "anechoic chamber simulator".

I don't doubt somebody has made an impulse of one - possibly as a joke. If real, what it would actually be is mainly an impulse of the mic (which we hope would be a very flat reference mic), and any residual echos would be a measure of how imperfect the anechoic chamber really was. I would expect at most some muddy, boomy bass reflections being the major nodes of the chamber. So basically, nothing or yucky mud. I would prefer to use the "anechoic chamber simulator" for a more perfect nothing.

I think there's a brand new Waves plugin that does exactly this job... check it out at www.waves.com

You are not talking about Q-Clone, are you?

Err I guess so... Why ? Am I tipping wrong ?

From what everyone is describing for what is needed to capture a sampler characterists, I don't think that Q-Clone would work...
