D:\projects\Rewire\RewireDLL\portable\RewireDLL.cpp(994):Verify Failure

can anybody tell me what the prob is with this? i don't even use reason/rewire yet i get this error msg and tracktion just does a big shut down on me... ive tried re-installing tracktion but it always seems to happen... coming to the point that i cant even use it as im expecting it to collapse on me sooner or later... ive scanned my comp for rewire and rex dll's and deleted them, even went to the propellerheads site for help.
tried even d/ling an older version of the rewire.dll yet no luck?

Did you try disabling rewire in T's preferences? (Not that I have any clue what is wrong, but maybe it'll help?)

yea thanks braj i did try that but it still happens... im gonna try audio drivers and maybe take out some plugins see if that helps...

jepp, same problem here from time to time (nothing specific happens before that) and i have to reinstall it.

you do have the latest vershion of the rewire dll?

its newer than the one that comes with T1 or T2

..this is a common error message ..it is known to happen with many hosts Cubase, ProTools, Logic, Nuendo...so i think its more a windows problem then a Tracktion problem (i hope so)...

ah yep ive even tried that to djsubject... the thing is i think it might have something to do with me installing the demo a few weeks back thats why i tried even an older version of rewire aswell as the newier one the other day...
it still happens tho... yea its fairly widespread problem on all platforms tkay... but not too common as i aint found a cure yet lol
i just hope i dont have to resort doing a total re-install of windows :S

I just got this error message today with Acid Pro 5.0b and Project 5 v2 and the new Project update that came out this week.

Given that this problem is occurring with so many different programs... I'm surprised it's not being taken more seriously.

Has anyone found a resolution to this problem?

I'm bumping this because I am still getting the problem. Tracktion becomes corrupt and I have to reinstall - sometimes it happens a number of times an evening.

It makes Tracktion *almost* unusable.

I've skimmed through the archives and there seems to be no obvious solution!???

Find out how many ReWire.dll files you have installed. And let us know the locations - actually the one in \\windows\System32 ought to be the only one you need, but I had issues with ReWire T2, and Ableton. Found that Fruity Loop Demos abd old Cakewalk installs had let versions lying around.
