Hey,
just about to scan in the plug for SIR... neat neat neat!
Do you think it'd be wrong to use it in a mastering bus to enhance some old mixdowns from years ago?

well what about using SIR on say a snare? when it renders will it be broken due to the latency issue?

well if you're still using tracktion... no it won't - unless you have one of our new BetabugsAudio plugin's (e.g. theDestroyPDCbug)

It depends. If you insert it on the snare track any delays will be compensated, unless the snare is coming from a multi-output rack. In this case you will need to set SIR up in a rack as an aux send, and provide a send for EVERY output of the rack (even if all but the snare are set to 0dB to leave them dry). Its well worth it though: I rarely use any other reverbs these days..

I don't think RonC deserves this type of ironic sarcasm... He's always very polite and careful with his statements and repliesmultree wrote:well if you're still using tracktion... no it won't - unless you have one of our new BetabugsAudio plugin's (e.g. theDestroyPDCbug)

btw, at the voxengo site are good pointers to impulses, and spiritcanyonaudio.com has nice ones as well (commercial + samples)

What does Convo Boy offers that's not already on the free Sir reverb?
