I really hope reason people will support this. To me, this could be a great resource, but I worry about reason users. Maybe the piano group buy was a not an indication. The piano in the new version of reason is improved, so maybe....

Anyway, when I auditioned these sounds, I found a few I could use now, but they were in sampletank format.

We have added a new column to the downloadable soundz list, Library, which shows which library the esound in question was taken from or 'previously unreleased' if the esound is not part of any library. You can sort the list by this column as well, making it easy to navigate around any soundz you may already have.

Cool Robert. Is there going to be a search window for that columm? In other words, like a drop down window where we can choose to list all Studio Drums Capsule, etc??

Reason is a very popular format for us. So, I think there will be some good things for Reason users for download on esoundz. We have a special thing going with Propellerheads themselves on the Propshop. They are the exclusive resellers of download versions of select Sonic Refill titles in their complete form in R3.

The downloadable esoundz search system has been completely revised.

http://www.esoundz.com/esoundz.php

Under the page numbers is a new setting: esoundz display filter. Click on the link to set and save your preferred display filter for downloadable esoundz. The display filter configuration page will allow you to quickly select precisely which instrument types and sample formats you are interested in seeing. In addition, you can select to show or hide esoundz taken from libraries you may already own.

Your esoundz display filter is automatically saved as a cookie and will automatically load each time you visit esoundz.com. You do not have to be logged in for it to work.

Enjoy

Well, Mello Zone and Pukka Masala will never be there because they're not our titles. World Traveler and American Heartland are not made for software samplers, they were for Akais, Rolands, Kurzweils etc. However, some of the sounds from those archives will make it into this selection. We'll be posting a bunch of outtakes from those libraries too such as dobro licks, banjo licks, pedal steel licks and more.

A bit OT, but if American Heartland could be adapted to take advantage of ST2 as a player, I'd be very interested indeed.

Post

Squids, you should really post the Icepad sound from Omni Synth. I would write a glowing review of it for the site, because it's one of my favorite sounds in that set.

ohhhh, just looked at the American Heartland set. I noticed something interesting,,, Steam Boat Calliope.

Sorry, because they were on the site i thought you had something to do with them.
How about your own Trons or other ethnic stuff?

Why not put up the other sounds in akai format? I for one am quite happy to use that format as are a lot of others i,m sure. Most soft samplers read them and it may also widen your download customer base to include those who still use hardware as their first choice.

Go on ,you know you want to...

Hahaha, you know what man, I love that Icepad sound too. Actually, there are a couple of those "crystally" pads in OmniSynth that totally rule.

I don't think you can really put sounds in Akai format for download. Akai was very finicky about how you had to do things. It was an odd format to become the one read the most. But, anway, if you like American Heartland I'd get it before I cancel it. It's had a nice long run (since 1997) but it is about to be retired along with World Traveler and Modern Songwriter (maybe Vintage Timetraveler). We may be replacing them with something else though. :o

Meanwhile, I think a country/folk/blues library for ST could be in order. We'll at least have that and plenty of downloadable ethnic, tron and other sounds. No worries. We sample EVERYTHING! ;)

Agreed.

Actually, I think Tone Control makes things sound better than the regular compression and EQ effects.

Some really cool previous unreleased sounds going up on www.esoundz.com downloads next week and the "official" grand opening of that whole thing happening soon.
