The screenshots for the BS-1 on Mackie's site and the site linked from the T2 page don't match, they look like 2 completely different apps. Is it just the wrong screenshot or has Mackie helped change the GUI for the BS-1 (which frankly is a bit amateurish).

Nice! That's good news! Do there happen to be any soundfonts included (not that they are hard to find on the web)?

Nice addition, anyone compared this with sfz (free version) ?

Well, you do have all those modulation option that you don't get with free sfz, so a better comparaison would be with sfz+.
For my part, I've had problems with multiple instance of sfz in T, problems which I didn't get with bs-1 demo, so I put sfz back on the sideline for now.

I use BS-16 avery day: It sounds good, uses very little cpu, and is rock solid..

Great! I have tried to like sfz, but no success yet. Thanks, Mackie.

cooo yes those knobs are tiny; do we need one of those little screwdriver things to turn them like the tuner on electric keyboards?
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

We worked with Bismark to change the GUI to be a little clearer and to look a little nicer and to meld better with T2. Same engine, just a much nicer look. It's been renamed to SF-1, not BS-1.

Maybe you guys could change the description on the T2 page?

Also, any included soundfonts?

We'll get the page fixed.
No soundfonts are included. We did not want to presuppose music tastes for stuff that was so vast and so readily available in the public domain. I suspect we'll post links to PD soundfont sites on the T2 pages in the near future.

I meant to say 'welcome to the forum' earlier, but was busy working. So here it goes... Welcome to the Forum!

What do you do at Mackie BTW?
