Using FL as a VSTi. Made a short tune today evening. Guitars in T1, Drums in FL. All ok while composing.
Opend the session now. Start playback. Everything fine. Stop playback. Go to the FL window to tweak a pattern/make new pattern. Select the Pattern playback (not song). Press play in FL. Fl will not play, goes into pause mode. Put FL into stop mode.
Go back to the T1 window, press play, FL not sycing, stays in Stop mode.
Put FL in pause mode (by pressing play in FL) Go to T1 window, press play, FL starts playback, but from FL's current cursor position. Does not follow T's position.
Press Stop in FL twice (goes to start). Take T1 transport to top too.. Put FL in pause (by pressing play in FL). Press play in T1, both applets start playback from top, but FL no longer mantaining sync, total drift by the 3rd bar.
Im getting a little tired of FL never syncing proper to T. What do i do now ?

i haven't used FLS as a vsti insert , in tracktion ...
as a guess , have you enabled 'start on input' , along w/ 'enable MIDI master sync' ?...
i may get a chance to look at this over the weekend , time permiting ...
or perhaps someone else will weigh in ...

Id like to add. I am also loosing audition control of T1. I cnt audition (CTRL click) any of the channels in the step seq. In the browser samples are not playing back either..
I am very concerned with this issue.. please help me out..

heres the result with Rewire :
I tried FL via Rewire with Tracktion 1 today. Encountered the following problems
Sync is ok.
In rewire mode, Though FL plays back very fine when playbak is slavecd to T. On it's own (if i were to press play in FL and not T) it fails to play back. On pressing play in FL, FL has a very slow cusor movement, the waveform in the wave veiwer on top draws wavesforms slowly (call it FL in slow motion) and there is no sound. Also i cant audition sounds within FL then, same thing, i click on a sample in the browser, get a wave being drawn in slow motion in the veiwer, and no audio.
If i open a session thats been done before and play it back, FL rewired to T, everything plays ok. But i cant tweak anything in the sesison for the reason stated above.
When I launch FL in rewire slave mode, open the corresponding session and press play in T for the first time, FL reloads the default rewire template (all instruments i think). I have to then reload the requierd session in FL. Problem is not repeated.
I hope i have managed to get the problem across.. Im gonna try FL with SX today.. and see how it works out there...

Im getting a bit pushy with this thread but i'll give it one last shot.
I would like to assume that a few ppl are using FL with T. Either as a rewire client or a VSTi. Can someone please tell me if they are facing similar issues as I have been ?

No. but I dont think that would solve the problem. I have a dual boot system. With FL and T installed on both partitions. I have exactly the same probelms irrespective of the partition im working on.
However, if u find it neccessarry ill do it.

sorry no but i have read many posts where other peaple aremy advice was just one of the things i would try, thats all
but i also have a dule boot so i know if it dose it on both boots, that probly wont fix the problem
i realy dont have a clue how to fix this one
did you add any hardware or update any drivers? or windows updates? did it start doing it at a serten time? if so can you system restore to before that date on your opparating system?

No, thats the main problem... It's been hapening all along.. aive had FL for a few months now.. it's only now that im looking at it for some serious production. ill probably be bagging a serious project soon and i need this to work.
Whats also very worrisone is that it workks very well with SX (on the same machine, with the same drivers).

when i bought FL it was on version 5.0.1, but almost immediately 5.0.2 came out... maybe i should try and install 5.0.1 just to check if i am having the same problems there too..
