Did anyone experienced newly added extra vst plugin folders disappearing from the list after closing and reopening T2?
This causes plugins (working fine previously)in that folder not to load with the yellow exclamation displayed next to its filter icon.
On the settings tab the only vst plugin search folder is the default one: C:\Program Files/Tracktion2/plugins
BTW I'm on winXP.Tracktion version is 2.0.1.2
I've tried both with and without the option of "always check for new plugins on startup".
Another problem is when i uncheck this option then close and reopen Tracktion the option is "checked" again.
Are these problems related to each oder?
Or is it something I forgot to configure???
Can you give me some advice?
vst plugin folder diappears on restart.

thats a WEIRD one ... i cant confirm it here since T2s plugin handling on my system has always been exemplary ...
... sounds like some currupt settings or registry problems possibly ...
... only thing i can think of is to make a back-up of all your projects and do a full uninstall / reinstall of T2 (maybe even grab the latest 2.0.1.4 demo) ...
... sorry ...

I can confirm a similar problem under Mac OS X (10.3).
I installed the T2 demo. In the process, Tracktion installed two sets of VST plugins: one from Mackie, and another from mda. When doing "insert filter" in T2, only the Mackie plugins appear in the list of available plugins. Under T1, both Mackie and mda plugins appear. Actually, T1 shows the mda plugins twice, because they are installed by each version with a slightly different name. For some reason the T2-installed mda plugins are never seen by T2. I tried renaming the directories, moving the plugin files, etc. but could not get them to register under T2.
Eventually, I downloaded a fresh plugin set from mda, and they all work fine. Can you explain that one? Perhaps its related to file permissions, or something that the installer did with the files, but something is definitely broken in T2 that worked fine in T1.
