OT? --Learning my M-Audio Radium 49

Okay, I want to learn how the heck I make use of all those sliders and nobs on my fancy little M-Audio Radium 49. (It's not all that fancy, I know...but from my perspective, well, it is! )

Do I need to go to Hadyn's stick: "PC: MMC from any MIDI source" ...or do I do something else?

Really, what I want the Radium to do is tweak my VSTs and VSTi's. Maybe it can even tweak T1 or T2?

I don't mind being pointed to manuals or other sources, but if there is a simple overview answer, that'd be much appreciated.

open T2 press ctrl+shift+m click the left top pannel & twidle a knob then click the right pannel next to it & choose your part that you wish to controll

Remember that it saves the settings on a per-edit basis, so you may want to set up an edit as a template so you don't have to remap controllers all the time.

I'd love to see some controller preset feature added, so you can have a setting for each synth you use. That would be very nice.

Do the BCR2000 lights reflect the state of the parameters in T2? I know paremeter feedback is used with faders (right?) but is it used with the lights as well?

yes the bcr dose but at the moment the cc mapper in T2 dosent,

but in mcu mode i have paramater feed back

Ah, I see. That makes sense. In the cc mapper my StudioMix couldn't get feedback. I sold it and am using the $$ to get a BCR2000. At least the issue is just with lights, not motors.

A template will definitely be the way for me to go. Probably several of them...but we'll see.
