Buffer send problem ?

i have a dual boot system. With FL and tracktion on both boots... one boot also having internet and other dirty stuff. I have Tracktion and FL working fine here now...

In the other parition, i am unble to hear anything out of FL unless tracktion is in play mode... If T is not playing, clicking on a sample within FL's browser does not play anything.. what i can see is a wave developing in FL's waveveiwer (top of screen, next to counter) in 'slow motion'. If i were to now press play in FL, Fl will again show its cursor moving along very slowly, wave being drawn very slowly, and no sound.

If tracktion is playing all is ok.. I think its a buffer issue ?

Also when i first press play in tracktion, FL closes the session i had loaded and automatically loads the default template is launched when FL is opened as a rewire slave. This happens only once, and the first time. could this be a message T is sending FL?

thanks for any help...

from the FL forums.. similar problem :

When samplitude is in stop mode, FL will not generate any sound, nor will it play

That sounds like samplitude isn't sending audio buffers into FL Studio, so FL can't generate any sound at that time.
