yes. when the rms of your track drops to -30 anyhow...

and don't forget that this could be going onto 20 trach many of which may be quiet and you can see that it would be there buffing the detail off your mix...

I definitely cant hear it. But once you stack 25 tracks (all normalized), you can hear a very slight hiss. Ofcourse it would never be mixed like that :hihi: so its fine I guess.

as part of "render issue" testing I can verify that T1 adds noise to 16 bit renders whether or not dither is selected on the settings page. - Mac os 10.2.8

When I render in Reason at 16bit I also got a -90db noisefloor. :shrug:

yes, Tracktion dithers - so if you have dithering enabled this could be it... ;-)

Even without dithering I still get -90db floor. I get the same thing in Reason. But in Ableton I get a complete flatline even on a 16bit file. :?

I think its a bug: Tracktion is adding dither whether it is enabled or not.
