Auto Detect Latency?

I have disconected every thing from my mixer except for the output from my computer, and the return to my computer. Then I use "auto detect" and it gives me something like 10ms or so. If I press the button agin it comes back 2 ms less. If I press again it does it again, another 2ms. I can keep going until the sound gets to the input BEFORE it leaves the output, -ms.
I think its safe to assume that, this is not possible

No sure but I am getting consistent results more or less.
I mean I am at 3.7 ms and then maybe it goes to 3.9ms but never a bigger gap.
I also noticed that this latency can change if you for example turn off a few inputs in the T settings page.
Do you have any programs running in the background? (anti virus maybe?)
That is the only thing I can think of.
