hi all,
when test driving the tracktion2 demo, i failed to find out anything about the following question:
how (if possible) can i configure t2 to change the midi input automatically to the selected track? as i always use my only available midi keyboard, i got pretty used to other hosts which map this input to the current track automatically.
thanks, isdjan

wow - i hear about globalisation every day in the news, but the tracktion coders aren't willing to follow? is that politically correct?
or another way to put it - i hope for an update...

i dont think it will happen in Tracktion IMO
it would chainge so much of what makes Tracktion, Tracktion
at the moment all on 1 track you can have 16 different midi clips, going to 16 different midi channels
same with audio
most global hosts can not deal with souch things
well the ones that i know anyway! (so maby not most)

the option that displays each input as in icon (not the new "per-input" way that T2 defaults to ) would probably be a lot easier for you - you just drag the icon to the track you want to use - super easy.

yeah, you couldn't have it follow the 'currently selected track' without disrupting T's normal functionality. plus, a track is only selected when you explicitly select a track. everything is an object. just drag the wedge thing to the track you wish to manipulate.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.
