OK, bought Computer Music just to read the T2 review. I decided to try out CM505 but although it seems to load OK I can't see the GUI.
I have no problems with tons of other VSTi's.
Has anyone else tried this plug successfully...
I've removed it and reinstalled it and tried everything I can think of... ??

I've not had any GUI problems with the CM-505 in T1/2 (PC). Though be aware that when saving/re-opening a project that uses the CM-505, the plug won't produce any output *until* the GUI is displayed by clicking on it in the filter section.

Mine gives a system alert chirp with each MIDI note! (OSX) !

Tibenmilk: I can't even see the GUI to click on it, it doesn't appear in T1 or T2. I get the controls at the bottom but the floating GUI window just doesn't want to show it's face.
I use Battery anyway, so probably no biggy.. It just bugs me

I've not had any trouble loading 505 (PC)or the kit that came with in in CM's DVD. Have you tried it on any other sequencer? Yours might be corrupt - it's happened to me a couple of times with goodies on CM discs.

beebul: I've had SampleTank do that a few times - disabling/re-enabling the, er, 'enabled' button in the property panel caused it to re-appear. Maybe give that a try? Otherwise, it may indeed be corrupted as Toad suggested.
