I know this probably would be shot down by everyone, but what if we could create racks in windows we can fullscreen? I think it would make things a lot easier especially when say working with drums and whatnot.

When junction filters (racks) were first being discussed, people wanted a separate Tab just for the rack environment. But jules decided it would be better to have everything on the same screen. Which is really the whole point of Tracktion
. I do think something needs to be done about the space management in racks tho. As our racks get more and more complex. Maybe even smaller filters.

I prefer the one window approach. I recently took a look at Nuendo on a friend's system and it brought back all the horrible memories of a UI that was over-complicated (to me).
Zoom and pan (like Bidule, as many have suggested) would be a good solution.
More of a nice to have feature for me, not a must have, as it will make that area a little tidier for complex racks. Mine tend not to be overly complex, even with a few outs from a drum VSTi. What kind of stuff are you creating, Ron?
Smaller filters may cause problems on VSTs with many outputs. Imagine the fun of selecting a particular output from one of the 16 you have coming out of Kontakt or something like that
As nice an idea as this is, I think there will be more people (doesn't affect me) that would rather have the racks/PDC issue resolved before any other aspect of racks are revised.
