Hello all,
I would like to know what the bit resolution is when freezing a track.
Can it be changed by the user?
I have the same question for rendering a track. (version 1) Is it possible to set the render bit depth?
Thank you,

the render bit depth is user-specified 16,24,32.
THere are no options for freeze track depth but I imagine it is all kept 32 bit float - anyone know better?

Hello semiquaver,
I only see the bit depth option with export.
If I use render in the project I have no option with the render but it looks like tracktion uses the sound card bit settings.

Joenco - you're right. If you want to render something at a deeper bit depth you have to use export then bring the file back into the project. press "esc" to take you to the project page, select the rendered file, copy, and paste it back in your arrangement.
