Who thinks a com[rehensive, publicly viewable 'existing bugs / fixed bugs' list would be A GOOD THING for tracktion and it's users? (ie. for you personally, but also for tracktion as a product, and for raw material/mackie as a business)
i don't mean a beta-testers-only list.. but a genuinely public list.
please discuss why's and whynot's if you feel so inclined.

maybe ok for registered users but a public list... i don't see the point.

Hmm. A public list of unofficial 'known' bugs might stop people re-raising them all the time.
Also an 'official' list of 'known and being addressed bugs' would be nice and might also prevent questions being re-raised plus users would know if something that was a significant issue for them was scheduled to be addressed.
Between the userbase and Beno this forum should be able to accomodate both, non ?

GaryG: well.. i imagine it's the regstered users who wold be most interested in the list anyway.. I suggested 'public' because that would be by far the simplest way to implement a list like this.
Like timmyo said, it could even be incorporated into this forum.

jules does great work, but forgets(?) about bugs sometimes. which is part of the reason i think this would be useful.
