I have a firebox and I just drag the input to a track and can hear whatever im playing once the arrow is there. But today when i did that I couldnt hear anything I was playing. Same with both mic inputs. But when I hit record It tracked just fine.
the problem is that i cant monitor the inputs, so im just guessing them. Think it was a button I hit somehwere by accident?
I restarted, reset, and did all those things.
t1 monitoring..hmm what happened here?

Make sure that "end to end" is enabled on the device, and in tracktion. Once you click on the input device you'll see the button in the properties, and you'll see the tracktion "end to end" button in the lower right corner.
