Thanks for your feedback!

I've posted a newer version which includes a new 'Precise' mode. This should make things more controllable.

The logic behind the controls is basically simple:

1. Center frequency selects the low-frequency range to process (please see it's not X-Over now).

2. Strength parameter increases dynamics of the sounds at the Center frequency.

3. Phase applies additional phase adjustment.

4. Then Distort kicks in. In the Random mode its effect is very strange and not fully controllable - it interacts with Phase and Strength together in an unpredictable manner. In the Precise mode Distort is basically a wave-shaper with a variable knee with maximum control over distortion.

5. After distortion stage a compressor is applied - this is a feed-forward compressor with a high attack and a fast release (release is higher than attack, though). This allows to suppress excessive low-freq peaking while still maintaining good initial punch.

6. LF Gain adjusts the signal.

This plug-in should be pretty complete by now.

Here are some processing examples for the kick.mp3 Ronny posted:

It seems to work well but I'd love to have a limiting control so the kick wouldn't clip. I'd also like a graphic display so that I could adjust the controls visually. I find that more intuitive.

munchkin, you may use Precise mode and Distort control to get that 'clipping' control. And Compress for the final level compression.

Any kind of visual representation I can think won't work well for this FX. Press the 'Monitor' and then move the Center knob - this way you'll hear what will be adjusted.

A small demo:

Not HUGE, but the difference is obvious and sounds pretty useful to me - it's just additional punch this plug-in is about. I've used Elephant Clip mode to suppress peaks.

Hey Aleksey !
See your .93 update here...running your 92 now and loving it while in line with groove agent!

It gives just the right cone flap... i`m loving it here!!
Good presets also. This plug gives a tonal kick what it needs to cut through.

I`m a buyer! hehe

yea, the compressor knob and the LF knob is magic! :)

Hm, have testing .91. Similar result i get with Cubase' Bitcrusher :D

annode, check the v93 out: it features another mode while original mode has been refined a bit, i.e. it should not over-emphasize lower frequencies - only add the punchy attack element and then go calm.

This thing literally kicks ass! Any news on the pricing?

Okay, will give it another try ..

A suggestion for your signature, Aleksey: Is it possible to link your pic to your site? Don't know how but it's possible :)

Jonny, added the link :)

I'm planning to set $49.95 regular price tag with $39.95 intro price. I would be glad to run a group buy sign-up for this release.

Installed the .93.
Just had time to use the presets while running groove agent through it.
I like that it un-effects all freqs but the lower ones...good for a stereo drm machine insert!
You can get a great kick sound in agent by ajusting the kick sustain and pitch in agent along with one of your presets for a super flappy cone sound!

I`ll need some time to see how all the effect plug ajustments work....seems straight forward Aleksey.
