hey fellas, and ladies.
im anxious to get this software, and it's just around the corner. ill bet within two weeks or maybe a little more. i really don't think it's in the hands of jules or beno at this point. i think it actually has gone to the presses by now. certainly it's been shipped and is awaiting us in some nice dry warehouse in our respective parts of the world. ill bet it's all been something that mackie had control over, but was something that would really benefit us. mackie, im sure, are in their right mind and are working on something really nice for us.
keep in mind. this is the first time they have really put out this kind of software in a box (that i can remember), and really, we are lucky they did this. ill bet the product is going to be great because of it.
but that's just an opinion, and a guess. no offense intended, or ill feelings were had in the making of this post. just trying to maybe help those along that are feeling a little shat upon or a little anxious.

i dont know guys, i have this huge feeling that we'll most likely have to pay very close to full price. If we want the boxed.

Man, I still don't get what Mackie has "done" to anyone here. Nobody has been screwed. Get over it, really. I have been avoiding this place lately because some things have just gotten on my nerves. But I had to respond to this. Really, anybody that thinks that Mackie has screwed them is totally unfounded. That really is impatience. If it bothers you that much, please try another host that will make you happy.eyeknow666 wrote:There is a difference between patient and "I'd put up with anything that a company does to me"lharless wrote:hooah that! ill agree to the above statement.

What do you mean "if we want the boxed"? We're not even sure we have the option yet. The msrp for the boxed version reflects all the plug-ins, etc., and the speculation (and it's only speculation!) we've all done STILL seems to arrive at the conclusion that there will be a very fair upgrade path, boxed version or no.
What the....?
In one short sentence, that's 2 pieces of misinformation implied: 1. that we'll have to pay close to full price; and 2. that there will be the option for boxed/download.
What's this "huge feeling"? All information currently seems to point to the exact opposite.
(ie. fair price, but boxed only)
