How do I move a midi note on the piano roll up or down a note or more while completely maintaining it's position in time??

Thanks, Mike from The Coffeehouse

Click on the note, with pointer tool, Click the Transpose button on the lower panel. Pick your interval. Done.

Or select the note(s) and use the "pitch" slider.

Or, hold Shift and drag the note.

In T1 if you hold shift it actually lets you move the note without any snap. Is there a setting I can change for that?

And in T2 holding shift down doesnt even let you move the notes at all. :?

right ... but ctrl-shift-click-drag WILL 'lock' the note in place on the timeline and ONLY allow transposing movement ...

Does it? I thought it made a duplicate copy of the note and THEN let you make transposing movements of it.

It seems like it if you have a steady hand but not really.

Hello,

In T2 demo one can select a note and the move around with it using ctrl + cursor up - down - left right.
