EVE ONE can use the Wusik samples directly. There is absolutely no need to convert or move the files.

However the free version/demo of EVE ONE will load a limited soundset, so all the Wusik sound files you may have installed will not be listed in the sound category menu.

I'd like to thank all the people in this forum for their precious feedback and advices... and for their patience especially regarding the issues of DK+. An update will be released next week.

tell me again, why will i want EVE 2?

i've been wanting to buy the EVE 1.8 bundle for some time, but between EVE 2 around the corner and suddenly this puppy appearing, i'm starting to get confused about how to go...

i figured i'd get a good upgrade price from EVE 1.8 to 2.0 and that i would get the extra soundsets now...but?

are there going to be bundles with EVE ONE, like EVE 1.8, and will there be an upgrade path (read discount) from the various flavors?

i think what would be cool is to get EVE ONE first (if i could get the soundset bundle with it) and then get EVE 2 later using a crossgrade price...

any advice?

Let's say that EVE 1.8 has layers, EVE ONE doesn't. Even if the synthesis engine of EVE 1.8 is simpler than EVE ONE it can produce several interesting sound textures because of layering.

Eve One is an instrument meant to be set-up quickly and played.
The idea behind EVE ONE is simple: instead of offering thousand of presets, we will offer the sound-sets (the samples) and a collection of instrument settings (the Sound Wizard).
Select the sample set, then select the instrument settings and with minor tweaks you will likely get the right sound.

My advice is that if you think in terms of sounds (I want a Wurlitzer here and a Solina pad there) probably EVE ONE is the best choice.
Instead, if you like to find inspiration from the various presets or need more complex sound textures based on vintage sounds then EVE 1.8 is probably the right choice.

no since the main value is in the sample library,
anyway we'll keep both prices EVE 1.8 and EVE ONE very low

and/or will there be special pricing for EVE 2 if you buy EVE ONE?

this could be, but just to early to say,

there will surely be a bundle or more that one,
for EVE ONE + SoundSets

EVE ONE is not an EVE 1.8 upgrade, as you see is a new concept to play the EVE library,

if you own already many soundsets you'll need to buy
ONLY the player = EVE ONE, which will be cheap,

so you are rewarded for you loyalty,

aren't you?
