Rewire.dll error??? b-b-b-but....

I don't use rewire nor do I have a directory "D:\projects\yada yada..." on my drive.

I've been having quite a few of these crashes in T1 lately. Anyone else have this happen? Any ideas as to why?

i have had this too. solved it in the same way like that. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=86006 tracktion sometimes fails to write his settings file on closing.

Thanks for the response aldi but I think we may be referring to two different problems(?) This is happening in T1 and does not happen after installing T2 as the error you describe does. I've had this happen with other hosts too so it seems like it's something specific to my system....but, what to do about it is beyond me.

It happens to me with T2. Same as the "installation is corrupted, reinstall Tracktion error", then I get the rewire error also (if rewire is enabled). The path you are seeing is more than likely the path of the dev system it was compiled on.

i saw this is a common problem to many hosts. it has something to do with the rewire.dll version. one hint was, that you should install a newer dll but i only know that the resan demo installst a newer dll.

Thanks for all the help guys. I unticked the "rewire" option and we'll see how things go from here. I really don't think it's a Tracktion thing because I googled on this error and found some ProTools guys complaining about this same error also. I wonder if/how/where one could get the latest rewire.dll?
