why is it a problem for you, while you're getting a fair and good deal ? have you ask in scool for a better grade even though you have known that it was a more than fair grade just because another person had luck with getting a better grade than you?

Exactly. Mind you, I'm glad it was fixed, because I wouldn't want any involved parties at Mackie or RMS (ie. Jules!) to lose any money due to a mistake.

have these. I know I have RMIV full version and the full Amblitube for ages now. The download upgrade will fill the bill quite nicely, thank you very much!

OK, I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade for $20, or use the rebate for the version with all the plugins.

Does anyone know if the plugins are locked to Tracktion or if their available in other programs as well. I've been using Project 5 version 2 quite a bit lately and it would be nice to have plugins available to both programs.

It also looks like you have to choose between the rebate or the $20 online version. If I decide to buy the boxed version later to get the extra plugins, I would not get the rebate. That amounts to about an $80 mistake.

I've been at work all night & I come home to this? I had to rub my eyes & slap myself to check I was still actually awake!! $20?? That's amazing. I was expecting to pay at least a few times that amount. Top draw

Unbelieveably great price. Thanks a lot Jules and Mackie. Tracktion is the best value for money app I've ever bought, which means I've had no hesitation in (succesfully) recommending it to everybody I know.

Thanks for staying true to the core idea of Tracktion too, Jules. If it ain't broke.....

For £20 I can do without the plug-ins! If there was any plug-ins that come bundled with the boxed version that I really wanted/needed I'd just buy them seperately.

I also noticed just the other day that the Tracktion 2 manuals (User guide & reference manual) were available for download. I downloaded these in work, printed them in full colour & then wiro-bound them

Just the Linplug RMIV alone goes for $149! As part of a $199 package deal with a $60 rebate this would be pretty good!

Here's what I want to know: When I got bundled plugins with Sonar, they only worked with Sonar. They were keyed somehow to work exclusively with that program. When I got bundled plugins with Acid Pro, they worked with other DAW software (including Tracktion) equally well.

Does anyone know which situation the Tracktion bundle is going to be? If they're keyed to Tracktion I'd just as soon do the $20 version, but if they're not I'd rather have the bundled version.

The only reasonable assumption would be that they ARE keyed to Tracktion. Otherwise people would just buy scads of copies of T2 for the sake of getting the bundle.

I have to ask this because I don't have win xp and can't try the demo.

What plug-ins are included in the T2 demo? Same as T1?

Does it still include Final Mix?

I'm thinking of buying the downloadable upgrade even though I can't use it until I upgrade my system.

Though, I have to say, I'm considering the bundle since the rebate deal expires at the end of June.
