These new plugins were finally released today from Camel Audio. Camel Phat3 and Camel Space.
They work on Receptor !!( via unsupported plugin method. After installing on PC, simply copy the folder over to the unsupported folder on receptor's HD)
Info here as well as the main web site

These are the only effects you will need for most applications and then some IMHO
Had fun programming these, and a dream come true as well.
Its on the site, but I had a lot of fun doing this PhatSpace demo:

Both plugs were installed on Muse Research's Receptor, with a wave player playing a drum loop, and just picked up my new guitar and JAMMED!Decided not to do any editing at all, and sent it to Jim ( of Camel Audio) *as is*.
You can bet I was pulling some faces on this one!

Hi Tim,
I just bought the two plugins but can't get them to work. I copied the CamelSpace.dll and the CamelSpaceData folder into the Unsupported Folder, could install it, but when I instantiate CamelSpace it does nothing. When I go to the Edit window, it freezes and I have to restart the Receptor.
With CamelPhat it is the same. Now I deleted all the CamelPhat files from the Unsupported Folder in order to reinstall them, but reinstallation failed, maybe because there is still CamelPhat 3 shown in the plugin window (the one you use to choose a plugin) and I don't know how to get rid of this.
A lot of problems, I don't hope having spent 99 Euro for nothing.

Maybe this has to do something with the serial number which I didn't use up to now?

Yes, I forgot to install the registered versions. Now I could get CamelSpace to work, but not CamelPhat 3. I keep getting a "failed" message. Maybe because the "old" CamelPhat 3 is still in the "Select plug-ins to instantiate"-window?
Thanx for your help,
Matt

yes...For each new version,( and this should work with any new version of a plug you want to put in) you have to delete the file created by receptor, then reboot receptor, and hold down the MULTI button while its booting. That will refresh the cache. Then go to setup and install it. It should work this time.I still have to do this with the released versions, as they were just released yesterday, but thats the procedure.mattda wrote:Yes, I forgot to install the registered versions.
