Thank you, all involved, for such a great deal. I logged in and had planned on spending $80 and was so gladly surprised at not only the cheap upgrade price, but also that you gave those of us who don't need/want all the plugins a way to get into T2.

So much class and style these days with Mackie and the Tracktion team.

The $20 is a great deal. Even more than that I appreciate that purchasers of v1 were promised a good deal, and then they got a great deal. I don't find Tracktion works for me in every situation, but I really like it for its ease of use and it works for me as somewhere between the modular type host like Bidule and Sonar. And v2 looks like it will have some features that I need.

Though I am not eligible for the upgrade or rebate (NFR / non USA) I second that. Well done guys !!!

Found a $30 rebate in my email this morning, even though I'm on an NFR license. I thought this was a nice gesture - I'm trying to figure out where to find the cash for T2 now.

indeed, i was just waiting to jump off the tracktion bandwagon after being a bit frustrated in the past...but $20 bucks for an upgrade is a damn good deal.

Bargain of the century! $20 = @ £12. That's a ridiculously small amount of money for a decent MIDI editor, loop recording and seriously good compression plugs (to name a few of the most important things for me)

I ordered the box version from the Swiss distributor. I hope that Jules gets some decent payment for all his work and that Mackie does good business with it, so they would further support T's development and future versions. I read that Jules has put in 5 (!) years of work into Tracktion, at least some of all these hours should be *paid* and I want to give my little contribution to make this happen. So it's the box version for me. Congrats to the developer of this great product.

What I think is awesome is that Mackie has accomidated everyone. Want the upgrade with no plug-ins? There ya go! And for an UNHEARD of price! Want the plug-ins? Sure, go to any store selling T2, and they are ALL selling it for $149, and give the $60 rebate, bringing your upgrade price to only $90! What a deal! I'll be visiting Sam Ash this weekend to inquire. Don't know if they have it yet or know when, but I'll sure be stopping by!

I don't think ANYONE can complain about being treated poorly here. And for those who didn't have faith in Mackie, and constantly assumed the worst, SHAME ON YOU!

Mackie's upgrade form just won't accept my credit card data. Arggh! I tried every variation I could think of, but nothing works.
Maybe it doesn't work with names that contain non-US ascii caracters? Or non-US zip codes? Who knows?
I'm from Sweden, by the way.
