O.K. someone tell me what AU plugs are must have...?? And you can't live without? I never bought a single AU plug the whole time I was buying stuff for my Mac, yet you T mac types keep bringing that up, like it's a big deal? There are definately more VST plugs than AU, right?? Hmmm... It's Logic that uses AU right?... O.K. Never mind

Like I said... which DXi plugins do you want (or need) in T?? ...are you serious about that, or is it the only thing you can think of to mention when Mac users ask about AU support...

Point being, you're missing it.
As people have pointed out more than once, it's all development time.
Most of us pc users would prefer development time was spent bringing in folder tracks, improved timestretch etc etc etc than developing AU support that we'll never use.

Or apparently not. You'd rather have AU support, than use the Mac VST version of the same plugin. Hey ho.

Come off what?? Reality?Sage wrote:
Come off it, man. What would he be holding up, seriously? T2 is OUT now. And the only thing it's really lacking, aside from a built-in drum map step sequencer, is support for non-VST plugins.

Are you living in some kind of Apple dreamworld? Tracktion needs a hell of a lot of stuff still. And there is still much market share to conquer. Jules's vision was to take over the world, not to just fit in with the big boys. Things have to be prioritized becuase there is only 1 development source, Jules. So if he has to take time to implement something at this point, it should benefit everybody, not just the few and the proud.Sage wrote:
Honestly, what's wrong with developing for niche markets at this point? Tracktion already serves the mainstream so well that it's difficult to imagine what could be added to serve that middle-of-the-road demographic. Now that T2 is out, niche markets are the only ones still untapped.
