you can fully control the DK+ sequencer via MIDI by channel 16, should be in the manual

Thanks Luigi.you can fully control the DK+ sequencer via MIDI by channel 16, should be in the manual
I understand that.
What I am getting is actually note-on but no note off. Actually it's press play regardless of whether a note is encountered and no note-off.

I still am having the same problem with 1.1 (Thanks Luisi!) in FLS and eXT. Selected pattern runs upon pressing play whether a midi note is present or not.

if you don't want to DK+ seq runs upon pressing playBeardedone wrote:I still am having the same problem with 1.1 (Thansk Luisi!) in FLS and eXT. Selected pattern runs upon pressing play whether a midi note is present or not.
you have to,
switch seq off in DK+ OR send C3 on channel 16
(C#2 switch seq on)

Yeah! Great sounding plug eh! I love the spice this instrument gives me. I put together a really good candidate track for this month's competition using just one DK+ pattern. This was becauseas I did not know how to turn it off or switch it. That pattern (a Bosa Nova) sounds so good that I didn't care.

Damn... I thought it was so simple:Beardedone wrote:Yeah! Great sounding plug eh! I love the spice this instrument gives me. - All the sequencer commands must be sent on MIDI channel 16.
- Keys from C1 to B2 are used to select the pattern
- C3 stops the sequencer
- C#3 starts the sequencer

Got it. Unfortunately, it still crashes Cubase with channel 16 C3/C#3. My specs are P4 2.0ghz, 512MB, Cubase SX 2.2.0.39, DK+ 1.1 (low mem version).
I just tried it with an empty project, in case it was a memory issue... the empty project also crashes.
I also tried the old 1.00.04 version with an empty project, it seems much better. But I found another crash issue with 1.00.04, If I turn on DK+ with C#3 and D1 at the same time, it crashes!
So with 1.00.04 (and all other versions I know of) C#3 + D1 crashes Cubase. Sometimes other things crash DK+ in Cubase as well... it doesn't seem stable with Cubase, is anyone able to use it successfully in Cubase?
If you want I can email the bank I am using (can't remember which kit/style it was, it doesn't seem to display when you load the bank). I don't think the bank matters.

Ok, please try downloading a new build from http://www.webalice.it/al_trio/ to see if it does solve your problem.
If it doesn't, feel free to mail me the project (even the empty one) that crashes your system.
Thanks in advance.
