T2 shipped out today.

Not sure about the other guys, but a web based business that rhymes with Wadio Widdy Wot Wom apparently has it in stock now!!!

I'm betting it was drop shipped because of all the salivating people baying at Mackie's door.

I can't be sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if everyone who has one on order has it shipped soon.

The same people who list the OS requirements as:
PC
Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP

Maybe they're drop shipping the Unicode fix for 98/ME users too...

Yea, and now I'm beginning to smell an audio midi rat. I started reading the email they sent. First line is:

"We thought you'd be happy to know you're order no. xxyyzzz has shipped!!"

Then I start looking more thoroughly:

"ETA: 2-3 Weeks"

Huh? How far away is this place anyway? Guam?

Then I follow the UPS link they gave me. At UPS it first says:

Not a valid Tracking Number.

Then a little farther down it says:

Pre-order.

Double Huh???

How can you ship a pre-order?!?!

They're in Cali. Which is why I dont really order from them much becuase I have to pay the 8.25% tax. I rather order from somebody like zzsounds or bayview pro audio. I emailed zzsounds to see if they could notify me when T2 is in stock but I doubt they'll do it.

Well, I just saw that Broadcast Supply Worldwide has taken the money from my bank account, so I guess that means they'll be shipping it immediately. Was a bit of a bitch to find a vendor adept at international orders though... hope they and DHL deliver promptly.

I guess I could have waited a bit, but I just want to get this prolonged T2 agony over with and put my UC-33 MIDI controller to some good use. Besides, rebates? Who needs them - with the dollar in it's current sad state, you get a humongous fat rebate every time you shop in the states! (ehm... too bad it all gets eaten away by shipping charges and taxes, though...

)

However, thanks for the tip for a source of this (and other American) product to somewhere other than the USA - I'll be keeping an eye on these guys.
