Sorry for delivering the news you probably wanted to hear.

Ok Beno,

I'm wondering why I'm expierencing the same. I have a register version of Traction (that I got with Mackies fierwire card) but the message I get is that the version I have does not qualify. Oh but wait, Mackie Onyx isnt 3rd party:(

Hey Scoops, from what I have been told you are in the US and have a registered T1 from a mackie product so you should be entitled for a rebate.
Send an email to techmail@mackie.com describing your situation and be sure to include your my.mackie.com user name. They should be able to check what is going on with your account. Give em a little time with this because this is obviously a new system and it may (seems to) have a glitch or two.
Thanks,
Ben

Ben
Yes, but mackie would have known this from my registration details that from when I registered my NFR version. And surely I shouldn't have received an e-mail if the offer is only open to US customers(a bit unfair I think anyway). Do I have any sort of right to claim my $20 upgrade?? since mackie have obviously made the error.

Not sure what you are talking about here. Too many different thoughts flying around in one thread. What information?

I mean can I download T2 for 20$ when I got T1 for free, bundled with Echo (Lalya 3G) products ?

Thx

No. As I said previously, currently, there are no upgrade paths for 3rd party T1 bundles. In fact, the 20 dollar download version isn't availably for Mackie product bundle registrations either.

I'm sorry if you received an incorrect email by mistake but the NFR version users are not elegible for the 20 dollar download upgrade.
Ben

It's not the fact that the NFR version doesn't allow me the special upgrade price but the fact that Mackie has sent me an E-mail stating that I am able to upgrade to T2 without any wording to say that the offer isn't elegable to NFR versions. I hope you can undersatand where I am comming from and isn't this false advertising?? Please Beno can you speak to Mackie and see where I stand on this. Surely it's illegal to false advertise something like this! Even if it is a mistake shouldn't they make good from THEIR error!! :bang:

tonalaxis, there is nothing more I can do. If you would like to discuss this with someone else, please email techmail@mackie.com and describe your situation.

OK, so bundled version of T1 = NFR version of T1...

Thx for your answer Beno. I can easily understand that there is no 20$ upgarde available for me since I didn't pay for my version of T1.

For the moment I'll keep on using T1 and maybe someday I'll get a boxed version of T2, depends on the price here in France.
