there are some things I can't change the colour of that seem quite important:

-level meters
-solo/ mute buttons
-text in the properties panel
-sliders in the properties panel

it would be nice to be able to :)

P.S. having bold text in the media list is not an improvement IMHO.

you can only change the background colour for these ... level meter filter background
Tingle wrote:-solo/ mute buttons
yes you can - the block of parameters from mute button to solo button text rollover
Tingle wrote:-text in the properties panel
apart from value entry box text (the colour of any directly click-and-type editable text) i think youre right
Tingle wrote:-sliders in the properties panel
slider bar parameter

slider bar you can change colour on, but not the triangular slider indicators for certain things like the gain and pan sliders that appear when you select a clip. The background of those sliders is determined by another variable, but the triangle is always grey.

funny, the background to level meter just changed, but I had to swap between project tab to edit tab for change to take place.

Ok, I;ve just worked something out: if you don't adjust the alpha chanel only parts of the intended item change colour (as when changing the mute button parameter).

yeah ... sometimes items dont change until you switch tabs / pages (the filters are a bugger for that) ...

... and as you say - be careful with the alpha channel ... wrong adjustment there CAN cause confusion or other problems ...

not on their own no ... but filter background affects them (tab switch prolly needed though) ...

yup, the old tab switch trick. Very necessary when designing schemes.
