Ok, first thing discovered. The registration is VERY easy. You don't even have to go to the Mackie website. You can do it straight from Tracktion, just enter your Mackie login and your code from inside the box and it authorizes it and approves and unlocks it! Simple as that! More later!

Can you give us a list of all the bundled plugs?

The plug-ins are the ones that were listed. Although, according to ads and Beno, more Mackie plugs are coming, and will only be available to those with the bundle.
The box is the one that Jules is holding in a recent pic that was posted here, not sure where. It kind of looks like the T2 flash intro screen, with Tracktion across it. The inside flap and the back look just like some of the ads that are out there. I don't have a digital camera, except on my phone.
Oh, and it's three CDs. The only required one is the first one. The second CD is RMIV, and the third is Sampletank 2SE and Amplitube LE.

So there weren't any additional plugs? That good, glad I didn't miss out then, since none of the bundled plugs would have done much for me.
Did you try the soundfont player yet? I was actually pretty interested in that.

I have not yet, however, it is the same as the BS-1 from Bismark, which you can try. I still have alot of tinkering to do, so I'll let you know. Apparently, they've worked with Bismark to update the gui, to resemble the compressor plugs that were in the demo.

The Soundfont Player (SF-1) uses Bismark's engine. We updated the GUI and fixed some things that were missing/not well implemented on BS-1. It looks cool next to M-PAD, M-Clav and the Acuma plugs, as they all share the same GUI attributes. (M-PAD/M-CLAV GUIs only available on PC, not Mac).koolkeys wrote:I have not yet, however, it is the same as the BS-1 from Bismark, which you can try. Ah, I didn't know that about the Soundfont-1. However, it does look nice, and I do really like it. I've needed a SF2 player for my mac for a while, and now I have one for my mac and pc that is the same. SFZ probably won't be used as much now.

It's gonna be 10 years before we get the boxed version of T2 in India.

Namaste, Sidhuji. I remember watching a street sweeper in Mumbai dumping a load of cardboard boxes and rubbish straight into the sea. Perhaps you'd be doing Mother India a better service by opting for the download...

Yes, there is a printed manual in the box. It's the user manual, not the reference guide, but it covers most everything. The larger user guide is of course still on the CD and gets installed.
With upgrading, since there is a mail in rebate, all I had to do was buy it for full price, and when I registered it it registered under the new license number, which was in the box. And I didn't have to go to the Mackie website, it did it all from within Tracktion in about ten seconds, literally that fast. Enter in Mackie login info, then the license number, and it approved it right there and unlocked my copy. Then I just mail in the rebate form and wait for my check!
