I had this happen as well on OS X 10.2.8. It seems that T2 installs the MDA plugins itself (I notice that they are inside the package contents). I think this causes some conflict. Just delete the old versions and let T2 do it's thing; plugin rescan and you you should be up and running.

Yeah, we include more MDA plugs so as steve suggests, deleteing the old ones should solve it.

done this and no, this doesnt resolve it.....the old t1 mda plug in files are gone.....t1 sees new t2 mda folder on rescan...t2 still doesnt see folder....what next??i even closed t2 and reopened it to see if any difference but same result....thanks for u r help ...

seeing as Beno is watching this thread, there seems to be some 'relatedness' between the T1 and T2 installations, and this might be part of phletch's problems. For instance, I uninstalled T1 AFTER I installed T2, and lost my T2 shortcut, my T2 registration, and the extra folder I had set up for plug-ins in the search for plug-ins menu. I am on WinXP.

If you're on Mac OSX, right-click(or ctrl-click) on the install icon and go to "Show package contents" and go to "contents" folder, then "resources" and then you will find the installation package for T2 plugs. Just double click on that and you can install all the plugs again without having to re-install the program.

thanks
tried that all that lead me to was the files 'english.iproj">infoplist.strings and 'icon.icns" > nothing but t2 icons.. no file that was identified as plugs ???

Did you click on the install icon? It should be in there if you did. I do have the boxed version, but I'm assuming that since those plugs are universal with different versions, that it would be the same. Look through the install file one more time. Remember, NOT the file that launches T2, but the one that installs it.

If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure what to do. However, the mda plugs are all free and can be downloaded from the mda website in a bundle. You could always to that then copy them over or whatever. I hope it gets sorted.
