Hi
I coulden´t find any post about problems regarding the sampler in Tracktion caused by videocard.
When I play the examples songs with the sampler I get audioglitches and they gets worse if you make anything like scrolling. If the samler track is muted or I use Kontakt the problem diseaper.
Anyone notised the same problem.
I have an ATI Readon 9200 se videocard (AGP). Can anyone recommend a Tracktion sampler safe card?? AGP or PCIexpress.

dont know about your specific videocard ... but there ARE known audio breakup issues associated with some videocards ... does this happen with ONLY the sampler or with any other plugins ???
... another thought ... how much RAM do you have and are you using disk-streaming mode when you use kontakt ???
... which demo track and what CPU consumption are you seeing ???

What makes you think it's the videocard causing the problem, rather than something else?
"my gosh it's a friggin hardware"

The audioglitches only apears with the sampler in all the demos at low CPU consumption (AMD 2500+ Barton). I have 1.5 Gb ram and kontakt works both with disk-streaming and in ram mode without causing any glitches.
To answer chico.co.uk it´s because when I scroll och magnify a track in playback the problem apears, but if the sampler is muted or replaced with an other sampler I can do these things. This make me suspect the videocard, but I can be wrong.

Video cards causing audio glitches is frequently a problem with early versions of Sonar. The solution there is to reduce the acceleration setting of the video card. If yours is set on full, try reducing by at least half. Might work.

Also have a look at Double Dawg and reduce the PCI latency setting for the video card....

I have a Radeon 9200 and by default the bus latency is 255, so it will hog the PCI bus during screen updates. Get Double Dawg as suggested above and change the video card latency to 32 and perhaps increase the bus latency of your soundcard.
(Note that bus latency is the latency of PCI and AGP devices and *not* the audio latency you set in Tracktion!)
