You gotta do it from the projects tab. Select the project then choose "import material" in the properties. You can even import a whole directory if you want. All the files will be ligned up one after another tho, which could be inconvenient depending on how many files you import.

i dont get it. so i do that from projects and then it will automatically set it up in tracks? Or do i have to pull them in one by one?

Well they'll be in your project list, then you can shift click to select them and drag them to the top "edit" tab and they'll be in the project. Or maybe an easier way for you is to drag them directly from the windows explorer to the edit. Its faster that way I guess.

when i drag it reverts back to selecting one at a time.

When you drag from where? I'm not talking about the built in Tracktion browser, I'm talking about windows own browser. You can drag multiple files directly from the windows browser.

Okay I shift selected all that i imported into the projects menu, and shift clicked all of them, but they do not go into the edit mode if i drag them. It only drags them in one at a time. What the hell?

i could swear beno promised t2 would have multiple file imports. Here's the issue. I have about 24 huge wav files to import and drop in to tracktion to do mixdowns for people. I figured it would have worked if i just dragged them all in at once, assuming it would all pop in at once into each respective track, even adding tracks if needed. But thats not how its working.

do it from a normal windows window ron ... select and drag multiple files ... it DOES work ...

... but as said it imports them all onto the same track consecutively so make sure you zoom out a bit ...

you can do it from modulrs tackybrowser plugin too BTW ...

..it´s no problem to import more files at once...in the T-Browser just shift click and drop them to the edit tab..but it´s not possible to send every file automatically to its own track at once... and that works in T1, too...

yeah i imported a whole bunch of waves at once, it just lines them up one after the other on the selected track.
Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

thats probably what happened then. How weird. Oh well

guess i expected import .wav file to be able to support shift clicking like every other program :)

Thanks guys
