I use Live all the time with my Receptor. Its great because you can use it as a mixer by running the audio output of Live through the Receptor and mix it with VSTis running on Receptor. Live uses lots of CPU so having the synths running on Receptor is very useful for that as well.

Thats good news to hear. What plugin are you using on the receptor? Some plugins like Minimonsta really tax my cpu using certain presets.

I use a lot of different plugs. My favorites are Stylus and Atmosphere from Spectrasonics and Zt3+ from rgc:audio. I use Guitar Rig and Absynth 3 a lot as well. There are so many great ones out there.

i'm using live rewired to max/msp then out to receptor. i really am getting rather impatient for stylus rmx to have it's installer relased, but when it is, i will be able to see if the tempo jitter problem makes rmx unusable. (midi clock is a bad way to time pluggins that rely on host tempo for beat synchronous playback of loops)
